Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the financial bookkeeping of an organization.
- Managing all accounting transactions
- Maintaining and reviewing financial records.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws.
- Preparing budgets for events and others.
- Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
- Monitoring expenditure and profits and providing reports.
- Evaluating internal management systems, procedures, and risks in order to provide recommendations.
- Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements in time.
- Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
- Managing a company’s accounts payable and receivable.
- Sending bills and invoices to clients.
- Tracking organization expenses.
- Processing refunds.
- Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments.
- Auditing financial transactions and documents
Requirements
The candidate should have:
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND in relevant fields with 3 – 5 years work experience.
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge of regulatory standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and Financial reporting
- Spreadsheet skills
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate financial reports.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information.
- Accountants need to be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in their work.
- Ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A strong understanding of business operations and a keen interest in numbers are also beneficial.
