Job description

The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial activities of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

– Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management for improving financial performance.

– Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

– Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Monitor and analyze financial transactions and reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues.

– Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

– Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and reviews.

– Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.

– Prepare monthly employee salary/payroll as per the company procedure

– Meet regular plan and report deadlines

Comply with the company policies and procedures

Job Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

– Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, with at least 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.

– In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

– Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

– Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

– Experience with financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting.

– Knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including experience with tax preparation and filing.

– Familiarity with ERP systems and other financial software is a plus.
