ROLE PURPOSE
Working in 54 developing countries across Africa, Asia, Middle East and the Americas, Plan International aims to reach as many children as possible, particularly those who are excluded or marginalised, with high quality programmes that deliver long lasting benefits. To achieve this Plan International must continue to strengthen and build on its work with partners, mobilise additional resources, support/ implement high quality projects and programmes, whilst ensuring accountability throughout.
As the Deployment Functional Specialist on Y.O.D.A programme, you will provide a key role in providing functional support to the deploying countries working closely with the global & regional hub functional teams.
The role will report into the BRD (Business, Readiness and Deployment) team but will have strong matrix reporting line to the Business Process Owner for Finance.
The role will be responsible to support countries to successfully adopt to the new business process and D365 system.
DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE
· Working with Global Hub team, Y.O.D.A workstreams and the countries, to ensure all business processes are clearly, accurately, and completely understood.
· Providing subject matter expertise on the functional business process and new transformation processes to end users in country.
· Partnering with the country teams to ensure that the business is informed, on track and ready for Go-Live with regards to the Y.O.D.A programme
· Support country users in participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure business and system processes are aligned.
· Partnering with the Global Hub data migration team and Deployment Data analyst to support countries with data collection, data readiness and cleansing, as well as populating of off-line templates in time for data migration.
· Assist the Global hub team in sourcing, identifying and submitting country localisations (tax/legal/statutory process requirements) to the project team for inclusion.
Provide input and review role mapping activities.
· Support the delivery of all business training within a functional area. Provide feedback & liaise with Global Hub teams for input to learning material, where required. Provide coaching to end users within the functional area where appropriate.
· Support all in-country change management activities to ensure end users adopt to the new system.
· Provide on-site support for the country during cutover within the functional area. Including possible integration and touch points with other functional or Y.O.D.A workstreams.
· In collaboration with Global hub, IT & the Y.O.D.A team, provide on the ground hypercare support to country users on the ground.
· Attendance of relevant country & programme meetings as well as status reporting of progress to the programme
· Escalation of any risks and issues to the global hub functional teams.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
As part of the Y.O.D.A programme, the role would be expected to support Countries to effectively support the project activities and deliverables for Finance.
The person will need to work closely with the Global Hub teams as well as the country project team to drive the following processes (aligned to new strengthening processes) successfully into the business through the implementation of the D365 system.

· Budgeting and Forecasting
· Cash and Banking
· Expenditure
· Other financial processes
The person will be part of the project team and will actively engage with the countries to execute project activities, guide/coach in-country project teams and SME’s, support end users, provide status reporting back to the global hub.
Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
This post holder is expected to work with all Plan International staff regardless of function or level, with support and mentoring given when needed.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Essential
Knowledge
· Extensive knowledge of PLAN Finance processes and accounting
· At least 3 years extensive experience of SAP & SAP BI
· At least 3 years of country experience at PLAN
· Microsoft tools such as MS Forms, SharePoint, etc.
Skills
· Microsoft tools such as MS TEAMS, SharePoint, etc.
· Knowledge of Power Platform, Power BI, and related Microsoft technologies is a plus
· Fluent written and spoken English.
· French/Spanish would be a plus
