A Micro-Finance Institution requires a suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the position of Accountant.
Qualifications
i) Degree in internal auditing, financial accounting or financial management (essential).
ii) Three years of work experience in a micro-finance and internal audit environment.
iii) Three years of fraud auditing experience.
iv) Exceptional accounting skills i.e. ability to prepare financial reports and statements for a Micro-Finance Institution.
v) Experience in banking and financial services regulations
Responsibilities
i) Assessing company financial risk.
ii) Safeguarding assets.
iii) Gathering and analyzing data.
iv) Checking the accuracy of financial reports.
v) Auditing the efficiency of business processes.
vi) Ensuring the business adheres to policies, procedures, legislations and regulations.
vii) Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
