Thus, we are looking for a Junior Accountant who will support the finance department in managing daily accounting tasks. You will work closely with senior accountants and to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collect the customer’s cash and deposit it in the bank.
- Perform day-to-day financial and accounting transactions are properly recorded.
- Support and supervise cashers to resolve problems.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other tax filings.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies.
- Other duties and assignments as required.
Education: BA degree in accounting and finance or a related field.
Experience: Graduated BA degree and minimum of 2 years.
Knowledge, Skills, Competence:
- Transportation and warehousing industry experience is advantageous.
- A can-do attitude with the flexibility to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with different personality types;
- Solution focused with the ability to work quickly, accurately, timeliness, attentions to detail and flexibly in changing circumstance
