Main duties:
1. Provides information pertaining to commitment register, receipt and payment, cash books and bank reconciliations.
2. Collects, collates all budget estimates from schools/directorates and central services department for calculation and consolidation.
3. Prepares periodical ledgers accounting reports on monthly, quarterly and annual basis for management decision making.
4. Performs any other duties lawfully assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
1. Grade twelve (12) School Certificate with Five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics or its equivalent.
2. Level II ACCA/CIMA/Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent.
3. Demonstrable Knowledge of accounting software such as Pastel and Aruti Systems
4. Two (02) years’ experience in Tertiary institution will be an added advantage.
5. Fully Paid up ZICA Member
