The overall objective of the internal auditor position in the organisation is to provide independent and objective assurance, consulting and advisory services in compliance with established professional internal auditing standards.
• The internal auditor will perform or lead a team of auditors and audit assistants in performing complex audits and advisory/consulting services, with strong focus on prudent spending, value for money, data analytics, governance processes and compliance to all legal requirements

Qualification Required & Experience

• Must have a University First Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Management, Business Administration or Public Administration and
• Must have a Master’s Degree in audit, finance, accounting, business administration
• Must have a professional qualification (ACCA, ICAG, CIMA)
• Should not be less than years and not more than 55 years of age
• Must have worked progressively as an Auditor for not less than 8 years

• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral)
• Candidate should appreciate the dynamics in a large trade union work environment and respond accordingly
• Demonstrat ability to meet tight deadlines while ensuring quality and exceeding client expectations
