Duties and Responsibilities:
The Financial Management Specialist will process day-to-day payment requests and monthly payroll; perform banking operations; and monitor budgets.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Significant experience working as a financial management professional (at least 5 years) including invoice and payroll processing.
- Experience setting up a financial management operations, developing budgets, cash management and related tasks.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, maintenance and use of automated financial management and accounting systems. Experience with SAP-based systems desirable.
- Demonstrated financial management experience in project implementation activities particularly dealing with the agriculture sector. Experience working on projects financed by international donors.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in English – reading, writing, and speaking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
