Are you someone who can:

Plan, design and build an IT infrastructure architecture, usually at an enterprise level, to meet business requirements and customise application functionality as identified through the relationship with the Organisational Sources and other External sources.

Comply, understand and implement all steps within IT development and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements during design of IT Infrastructure Architecture.

Draft business and technical requirements into requests for proposal documents for IT Infrastructure Architecture.

Ensure IT Infrastructure Architecture Performance and Upgrade Metrics are developed and used in the business.

Ensure system health checks process is aligned with SLA and best practices for the Business Technical Environment.

Support application functionality to problems analysis in existing infrastructure architecture by staying abreast with latest technological advances in the market place then translate current and future trends and advise management of benefits and well as risk

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

Minimum Qualification – Relevant bachelor’s degree in information technology computer science, Information Systems or related field

Preferred Qualification – Control M/O/R certification

Experience – 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level

Prior batch scheduling or software equivalent

Programme/Batch monitoring

Developer fix application

Troubleshooting and analysis protocol

Monitoring and command center knowledge

Data processing

Infrastructure knowledge

Operating systems knowledge

Redhat Certification

AWS Cloud Certifications

Additional skills

Indepth knowledge of one or more configuration management tools

Proficiency in operating systems such as Linux & Unix

Troubleshooting skills for resolving system issues and performance optimization

Familiarity with containerisation and Container Orchestration tools such as Docker, Podman, Openshift and Kubernetes

Understanding of monitoring and alerting systems – ELK stack, AlertManager,

Have at least 3 year experience with IaC – Infrastructure as Code (Have build Playbooks or Modules), Puppet , AppDynamics, Elastic Search, Ansible, AWS

Have experience with observability inregards to monitoring.
