Requirements Review
Review and analyse Product & Remuneration Business Requirements Specifications against existing Remuneration and Commission Models to ensure all considerations have been applied in the BRS.
Review and analyse Change Requests against existing Remuneration and Commission Models to ensure all considerations have been applied in the BRS.
Identify & provide High Level & Detailed Acceptance Criteria per User Story.
Testing Preparation
Create Test Plan (UAT, Regression Testing and Production Testing) and provide input to Test Strategy
Validate, identify & raise design & functionality issues at Demonstration & Solution Overview sessions
Review, analyse and assess system testing output artifacts for testability
Identify and design test scenarios, test cases and test data with expected results.
Execute TestingConduct the relevant testing at key points within the delivery:
User Acceptance Testing
Regression Testing
Production Testing
Execute Testing in a relevant environment (Testing/Production) and document actual results.
Compare actual with expected results and identify Defects.
Log Defects.
Re-test fixes and update Defect Log
Sign off Testing Stage (subject to successfully meeting sign off criteria)
Documentation
Create or update relevant documentation i.e. Training material, Remuneration Booklets, Practice Notes, Commission Tables, Learner Guides, Process Documents, etc.
Provide training so that impacted BAU Teams are informed of change and can provide BAU support in relation to the change.
Project Collaboration
Act in the capacity of UAT Tester on various Remuneration initiatives providing specialist Remuneration knowledge to the Project Team and generate agreed upon documentation and Testing Activities within the project.
Align with Lead Test Analyst to validate Remuneration Model knowledge and to include them in the relevant project discussions when required.
Act as Lead UAT Tester when multiple UAT Testers are assigned to one project coordinating Testing activities across the project test team.
Attend and provide input at agreed Project ceremonies.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Grade 12 Required
- Software Testing Certification
- 3 year Tertiary Qualification preferable
- 3 – 5 years experience as a Software Tester within an SDLC
- 1 – 2 years experience working as a Software Tester in a Financial Services Environment
- 1 – 2 years experience using Testing Tools
- Exposure to Financial Systems i.e. SAP, Oracle HRMS
- Exposure to Test Automation
- Agile Experience Advantageous
