Qualifications:
• Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, CPA(T)/ ACCA or its equivalent with at least 2 years working experience in the Accounting field.
Duties:
• Perform various accounting tasks including receiving and paying out cash and cheques.
• Maintain full and accurate account records.
• Prepare trial balances.
• Check the correctness of claims and retirements ensuring they are supported by appropriate authority/evidence.
• Custodian of accountable documents.
• Prepare monthly trial balances and bank reconciliation statements.
• Maintain debtors and creditors.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Check the accuracy of payment vouchers.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the senior.
NB: Holders of foreign awards certificates must have the awards verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) before employment.
