Responsibilities
- Record and barcode all assets on the asset register.
- Regularly perform physical asset verification.
- Monitor and review asset allocation.
- Account for assets and establish internal controls.
- Provide regular reports on asset status.
- Manage asset disposal.
- Maintain updated inventory records.
- Conduct physical stock-taking to match system records.
- Create and maintain financial records & reports for inventory.
- Prepare budget forecasts and analyses.
- Resolve inventory variances.
- Process bank and Mpesa payments.
- Perform Mpesa reconciliations.
- Assist in filing returns (VAT, PAYE, Withholding VAT, etc.).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA is an added advantage.
- Audit experience is an added advantage.
- Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
