The successful candidate will join our team as an Analyst for Revenue Assurance in the Finance Department. (S)He will report to the Margin Assurance Manager and will provide the business with assurance services on prepaid revenues by preventing leakages. The individual will also be responsible for professional audits either individually or as a team leader to ensure quality products and identify and mitigate risks as part of revenue assurance value addition.
Key Responsibilities
In the context of revenue assurance frameworks and the sales to collect process in the ICM, the Revenue Assurance Analyst is to support and responsible for the implementation and execution of all prepaid controls:
Ensuring 100% Implementation and Execution of all Prepaid End to End and Related Controls.
Ensure Controls on Prepaid (Voice, SMS, Data) are fully designed, implemented, executed and formalized to mitigate risks.
Ensure Alarms are followed up in a timely manner and properly corrected.
Ensure data assurance framework alarms are followed up and properly closed.
Ensure validation of all partner revenue share agreements
Ensure 0.1% pending expired controls in prepaid.
Ensure all 100% execution of all controls in the data assurance framework.
Ensure 100% execution of all controls in the HLR tampering framework
Ensure inventory validations are performed per agreed frequency.
Ensure 100% implementation and adherence to the subscriber life cycle policy.
Serve as SPOC for all GSM regulatory requests.
Assists in the validation of sales commissions.
Carry out End to End Service Path Revenue Path Review
Perform periodic end to end review on prepaid to ensure that all controls have been.
Fully implemented and complimentary controls are in place to plug out leakages as discussed with Manager.
Ensure standard templates for prepaid controls have been implemented.
Identify manual processes in the prepaid process and put in place automation plan.
Ensure key controls and alarms have been defined on key areas.
Perform control adequacy and effectiveness reviews of business processes that affect revenues.
Put in place daily monitoring of exceptions trend from control execution to identify spikes and dips for corrective actions.
Carry out Risk Analysis on Products (Product Assurance)
Participate in the product assurance process to assess impact of Products on prepaid controls.
Prepare RA Test scenarios to be factored in the product testing and periodic testing of products.
Required Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree Computer Science/I. T, Masters or Accounting certification will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
Broad knowledge of operations activities.
Solid English language skills.
Revenue/Billing Assurance and Risk related experience
Knowledge in SQL & Oracle Databases
