To assist in the collection, compilation, and analysis of international economics statistics to
ensure production of quality statistics and reports for policy decision making and dissemination
to local, regional, and international stakeholders.
KEY JOB FUNCTION
➢ Participate in the data identification requirements and collaborations as required for
data collection, validation, and collation requests.
➢ Identify, collect, and collate data for review and further analysis, for projects delegated
by superior.
➢ Present and participate in research papers and lectures to immediate superiors, various
committees, and internal & external stakeholders.
➢ Produce appropriate graphs and tables, analyse, and interpret of the resulting data,
draft reports while ensuring compliance to international standards.
➢ Provide technical expertise and guidance to a variety of internal and external
stakeholders, including government officials, banks, and auditors.
➢ Maintain relationships with the key members of the regional, national, and international
economic system and other relevant stakeholders to maintain constructive collaborative
engagements.
➢ Stay abreast of national, regional, and international economic development and macroeconomic policies, including matters of regional economic integration.
➢ Collaborate with other appropriate stakeholders to compile research outputs (research
papers, presentations, etc).
➢ Participate in the processes and projects specific to the Unit or bank wide strategic
projects.
➢ Participate in national and international fora, and committees to provide technical
expertise and support as required.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
➢ Bachelor’s Degree with major in Economics, International Economics, Statistics or
equivalent.
➢ Two (2) years’ relevant working experience in a macro-economic environment with
exposure to data analysis and research.
