Is there any power of the enemy that Christ has not yet delivered us from? Could we be children of God and have no power over the enemy? Do we become victors after we pray and fast? Does the salvation Christ has wrought have anything to do with anything more than our spirits? Does the death of Christ in any way affect my job, business, finances, health, or career? Is God concerned about any of those things? Is suffering, poverty, and pain God’s plan to teach me humility and to be focused on him? Is God mad at me for being very successful? Are there a few people chosen for the glorious life so much so that some may not have been chosen, therefore nomatter how hard we try if God has not chosen us then we will be defeated? Asking such questions and studying my bible to find the answers has built my convictions in the love of God.
In this article, i seek not to give you any answer but to stir you to study the bible for yourself. God is the father of us all, and why should you just wait to hear from someone else about your father when the father has written a message for everyone of us. Why should someone always read for me my rights in Christ as though i am illiterate? The bible says in Acts 17:11 ” These ( Christians in Beria) were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” These fellows did not hold on to Paul’s message simply because he worked miracles, or called himself an Apostle. They had quality time searching the scriptures finding out about what was written concerning them.The trouble with many people today is they are expecting someone to find out for them what belongs to them and then come and give it to them whilst they are watching football, movies or are busy on facebook; now that is not going to happen. I know of folks who now demand some money if ever you can consult them for help, as sad as it is; lazy and ignorant folks have been the reason for the thriving of these men’s businesses.
What does the bible say about you walking in victory? What about your marriage or children? Is there anything you can do if you want specific results , or should we wait for Jesus to come back? Now, if you don’t have a bible get one today and search the scriptures, and I advise that you start from the New Testament section, for it is the portion that speaks of you in the now.
