Insights Daily Insights: Prepare for the Future

” But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”
2 Cor 9:6

Your future is not mysterious. It can be predicted by looking at the quality of investment you are making today. If you want to build a house, there are steps you are to take, or else you will never have a house. You may pray all you want, but if you don’t take the steps to make mortar and lay brick upon brick, you are not going to build any house. There is an investment required today to establish great things for your future. Doctors spend 5 years or more in college to come out qualified. They have to study, night and day, to earn that prestigious occupation. It’s not a matter of wishing and hoping. There are steps to be followed.

Do you desire a great future? Sow the seed for it today. Many times, people eat their seed and still expect a harvest from God, but that is ignorance. When it comes to dealing with God, there is a prescribed order. You are to sow into the kingdom of God if you are in pursuit of a harvest. This is not forced upon anyone. It’s a matter of your faith in the word. You can sow financial seeds for your future, for your business, for your family. Many people talk of generational curses, but there is a generational blessing that you can put in motion consciously through your seed. There will be a harvest because spiritual laws are predictable. Learn to sow seeds of greatness, both physically and spiritually. Don’t just sit and expect things to happen without an investment. A great life is not an accident. You can make your way prosperous. (Joshua 1:8) There are folks sowing trouble into their future unknowingly. Walk in truth, the day of harvest is coming.

If your health, marriage, business, or career is crumbling, you can consciously take steps to build it. Find out the things you should do, maybe you are eating wrongly, maybe you speak roughly in your relationship that’s why things don’t work for you, begin to train yourself to speak lovingly, do it and you will have a predictable great future. The day of sowing precedes the day of harvest. Before you expect a harvest, think of the seed sown.
