1 • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and timely submission of reports to tax authorities and auditors.

• Stakeholder Support: Communicate effectively with in-country teams, donors, and partners to manage receivables and provide financial guidance for program implementation.

• Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiency and innovation in financial systems, suggesting improvements to processes and supporting FREO2’s strategic goals. What You Bring

• 3+ years of professional experience, ideally with NGOs or donor-funded programs.

• Proficiency in Xero and strong expertise in financial operations, including payroll, procurement, and reconciliations.

• Familiarity with financial statements preparation and compliance with tax regulations in East Africa. • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a remote, international team.

• Bonus: Experience with donor-funded projects and knowledge of East African taxation regulations. Benefits

• Contribute to a life-saving mission improving healthcare access in low-resource settings.

• Collaborate with a supportive, global team passionate about making a difference.

• Gain hands-on experience managing large-scale programs with international stakeholders.

• Enjoy a flexible, remote work arrangement with access to FREO2 hubs in Mbarara or Lira.
