Role and Responsibilities

Investment banking analysts at Temple undertake various responsibilities, including:

  • Financial Modeling: Create and analyze complex financial models to evaluate potential transactions, valuations, and financial outcomes.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor performance to provide valuable insights.
  • Due Diligence: Assist in due diligence processes by reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and other relevant information to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Presentation Creation: Develop presentations and pitch books for client meetings, incorporating financial analysis, market data, and strategic recommendations.
  • Transaction Support: Support in deal execution, managing tasks such as documentation, coordination, and liaising with different parties involved in transactions.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data, draw conclusions, and present findings to support decision-making.
  • Client Interaction: Interact with clients to gather information, understand their needs, and provide updates on ongoing transactions.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication within the team and with clients, ensuring everyone is informed about project status and updates.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues from various departments and other working parties, to ensure smooth execution of deals.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
  • Work experience: Previous internships or work experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or related fields is highly beneficial.
  • Mandatory Qualification: Completed the Ghana Securities Industry Course

Skills

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
