DIMENSION OF THE ROLE:

Plan International is recruiting for its service needs an innovative civil engineer who
will be responsible for the design, development and monitoring of
construction/rehabilitation works on infrastructure carried out by Plan International as part of the
project entitled “ Young people learn, earn and prosper in the Lake
Chad region” which is funded by the German Ministry of Economic Development Assistance
(BMZ) and implemented in the Far North region of Cameroon.
This project aims to strengthen the resilience of adolescents and young girls and boys experiencing
food insecurity in the Lake Chad region and in particular in the departments of

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
II. Job requirements

– Have at least BAC+ 3 in civil engineering, hydraulics or any other similar discipline
with at least 03 years of recognized professional experience in the field of civil engineering and
in particular in the implementation of construction or work projects related;
– Having experience working with humanitarian NGOs and particularly in the
field of civil engineering would be an asset;
– Have good computer knowledge and skills (MS Office, Word, Excel,
Powerpoint, internet, Outlook);
– Have strong communication and relationship skills
– Have the ability to plan, prioritize and respond flexibly to
changing demands;
– Be able to multitask and meet various deadlines in a
fast-paced environment.
