Shirika Sacco Society Limited was registered on 24th April, 1969. At the time it’s members came from the Ministry of Co-operative Development (which is the parent ministry), although we have since widened our scope to include all other government ministries, all cooperative related organizations, and other reputable public organizations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handling all member’s loan enquiries and providing solutions.
- Preparation of Credit Reports
- Appraising member loans and businesses and providing recommendation thereof.
- Follow up on non-check off member’s deposit and loan payment
- Calling back members and informing them of reasons for loan rejection
- Calling back members whose loan forms are not duly filled
- Credit eligibility and assessment
- Loan appraisals and carrying out field visits for appraisal for business/non check off loans
- Reliever to the Credit Officer
- Any other duty as delegated from time to time
Minimum Qualification:
- Minimum of a diploma in Credit Management/Cooperative Management/Banking/Finance or Business related field
- Minimum professional qualification of CPA Part 1 or CCP Part 1 or ACCA Level 1
- Minimum of one-year experience in finance industry with preference to SACCO sub sector
- Preferred applicants to be below 35 years in age
