Job Summary:
ABC is seeking a proactive Finance and Administration Graduate Trainee to join our dynamic team. If you have proven understanding of accounting, finance and administration, we want to hear from you. As a Finance and Administration Graduate Trainee at ABC, you will support the Finance and Administration department in the execution of financial, accounting, and administrative tasks while gaining practical experience in financial management, reporting, and office administration within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance Support
· Assist in posting of general ledger entries and maintain records for all transactions.
· Support the preparation and filing of financial documents and records.
· Assist in the tracking, recording, monitoring and dispensing of petty cash, including performing cash counts.
· Assist in bank reconciliations and monitoring of transactions.
· Support accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking.
· Support the documentation required for internal and external audits.
2. Administrative Support
· Assist with filing, documentation, and maintenance of finance and administrative records.
· Support procurement processes including preparation of LPOs, RFQs, contracts, vendor assessments and maintaining vendor records.
· Assist with coordination of office supplies and inventory tracking.
· Assist with completion of asset verifications and updating of the fixed asset register.
· Identify vendors and coordinate with them for team building events and staff parties.
· Provide logistical support for company meetings.
3. Compliance and Controls
· Support adherence to internal financial controls and company policies.
· Assist in maintaining proper documentation for regulatory and audit purposes.
· Ensure proper filing and safe custody of financial and administrative records.
4. General Support
· Assist the Finance and Administration team with day-to-day operational tasks.
· Participate in departmental projects and process improvement initiatives.
· Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
· Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Word).
· High level of integrity and attention to detail.
· Good organizational and communication skills.
