ActionAid Nigeria is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the following positions within the organisation:
Finance Advisor, Migration and Reintegration Project – Abuja
The post holder will ensure maintenance of adequate financial integrity in supporting quality and timely data input for generation of financial reports, review and analyze accounting ledgers for the Migration and Reintegration Project. S/he will also contribute to strengthening the internal control and accounting systems of AAN and partner organizations.
Person Specifications
Education/Qualifications
- First degree in Finance/Accounting is essential.
- Relevant accounting professional certification is desirable.
Experience
- At least five (5) years post NYSC experience in related finance position is essential.
- Experience working on a multi-country project is essential.
- Experience in implementing financial control systems is essential.
- Development sector experience as a finance person is desirable.
Skill/Abilities
- Sound practical knowledge of any accounting software and Spreadsheets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications
- Proven skills in training and developing staff and partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent multi-tasking, negotiation, and communications skill
