Responsibilities,

Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential cost-saving opportunities.

Compile, analyze, and present financial data in clear and concise reports for management and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with Finance Manager to develop financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term strategic plans, highlighting key financial risks, projections, and growth opportunities.

Regularly review financial processes, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory frameworks.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during audits.

Maintain and update financial databases, tracking systems, and financial models to facilitate accurate and timely reporting.

Continuously improve data integrity and consistency across various financial platforms.

Monitor and assess industry trends and competitors financial performance to benchmark our institutions financial position.

Provide insights and recommendations based on market observations to drive informed decision-making.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Risk Management, and Treasury, to ensure financial data alignment and effective communication regarding financial goals, strategies, and initiatives.

Requirements

Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are highly desirable.

Must have at least two and a half (2.5) years of experience in the same or similar role.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), financial statement analysis, and budgeting processes.

Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL), and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present financial reports and interact with stakeholders at various levels.

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and meeting deadlines.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage multiple projects.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced financial institution.
