As part of our mission to support capacity building in the industry, we are offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and a desire to explore the insurance industry.

๐ŸŒŸ Position: Finance Intern

Internship Duration:

3โ€“6 months (with possibility of extension based on performance and organizational need)

Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Intern, you will support the Finance Department in day-to-day operations and gain valuable experience in the following areas:

  • Assisting with data entry, invoice processing, and record keeping.

  • Supporting the preparation of financial reports, budget tracking, and reconciliations.

  • Assisting in auditing support and ensuring accurate financial documentation.

  • Helping to monitor transactions, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.

  • Participating in the preparation and review of financial statements.

  • Filing and organizing financial records in both digital and hardcopy formats.

  • Supporting the Finance Officer in any additional administrative or accounting tasks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interest in the insurance or financial services industry is an added advantage.
