As part of our mission to support capacity building in the industry, we are offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and a desire to explore the insurance industry.
🌟 Position: Finance Intern
Internship Duration:
3–6 months (with possibility of extension based on performance and organizational need)
Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Intern, you will support the Finance Department in day-to-day operations and gain valuable experience in the following areas:

Assisting with data entry, invoice processing, and record keeping.

Supporting the preparation of financial reports, budget tracking, and reconciliations.

Assisting in auditing support and ensuring accurate financial documentation.
-
Helping to monitor transactions, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Participating in the preparation and review of financial statements.
-
Filing and organizing financial records in both digital and hardcopy formats.

Supporting the Finance Officer in any additional administrative or accounting tasks.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
-
Eagerness to learn and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Interest in the insurance or financial services industry is an added advantage.
