To inform and support the implementation of a sound Enterprise Risk Management Policy and
Framework for effective and efficient delivery of the Bank’s mandate through risk informed
strategic decision making and operational processes enabled by an appropriate enterprisewide risk culture.
KEY JOB FUNCTION
➢ Facilitate risk identification and assessment process in Bank.
➢ Support risk discussions with appropriate research and data analysis outputs, to
facilitate risk insight and understanding.
➢ Review process risk reports as submitted as well as strategic and projects risk reports
from risk champions and project managers for incorporation into organisational risk
reports.
➢ Receive, analyse, and consolidate incident/ loss events reports, provide related input to
further risk mitigation processes.
➢ Maintain relationships with the risk champions, risk owners and other governing
structures to maintain constructive collaborative engagements.
➢ Monitor insurable risks trends to inform the risk financing programme.
➢ Compile and present risk reports, incident/ loss events reports and other risk specific
information to the various reporting structures.
➢ Design and facilitate risk awareness programmes and related activities.
➢ Facilitate risk awareness training for management, staff, and risk champions.
➢ Conduct risk awareness surveys: analyse outcome and incorporate into risk strategies
and programmes
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
➢ Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Accounting, Risk Management or Business
Management/ Administration or equivalent.
➢ At least five (5) years of working experience in the financial sector or banking industry
with an exposure to auditing and/or various operations in the organisation.
➢ Affiliation and Certification with professional bodies would be an added advantage.
