AmaliTech seeks a passionate PHP/WordPress developer to join our team. You will work on both the frontend (user interface) and back-end (server-side) of websites with WordPress experience, creating and
maintaining WordPress sites, custom themes, and plugins.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
- Designing and building the website front-end.
- Creating the website architecture.
- Designing and managing the website back-end, including database and server integration.
- Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Maintaining website security and performance optimisation
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (preferred).
- Prior experience working with WordPress projects.
- Experience with FSE, Gutenberg, block themes, WP CLI, and Plugins like ACF, Gravity Forms,
WooCommerce, and Divi. - Proficiency in HTML for creating the structure of web pages and styling them.
- A deep understanding of PHP is crucial for customization and modification.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and its libraries/frameworks such as jQuery.
- Understanding of database management systems, particularly MySQL.
- Ability to create custom WordPress themes from and/or maintain existing custom themes.
- Knowledge to develop custom WordPress plugins to extend the functionality of WordPress.
- Experience with integrating third-party APIs to add additional features or services.
