Job description

  • We are seeking to hire a Program Officer who will oversee and manage the implementation of various programs within our organization.
  • He/she will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the implementation of various programs within our organization, work closely with students, volunteers, and other stakeholders, to ensure successful execution, monitoring, and evaluation of programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed plans for program implementation, including goals, objectives, timelines, and budgetary requirements, as well as monitor program progress and performance
  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day implementation of programs and administrative tasks, ensuring alignment with established goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders involved in program activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on program performance for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff and partners involved in program implementation.
  • Maintain relationships with external partners, donors, and stakeholders to support program objectives.
  • Collaborate with volunteers and stakeholders to leverage resources, expertise, and networks for program implementation and sustainability
  • Handle social media pages /groups by posting content regularly to keep pages active
  • Oversee the activities of other program Coordinators to ensure successful execution of all projects .
  • Carry out other day to day administrative tasks like recruitment, facility supervision, etc, as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit
  • Proficiency in google office tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
  • Proximity to Amuwo Odofin.
