  • A Backend Developer builds and maintains server-side applications, databases, and APIs to support the functionality of software applications.
  • Success in this role is achieving scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems that integrate seamlessly with the frontend, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Backend developers enable the functionality and performance of applications, collaborating with frontend developers and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions aligned with the company goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing server-side logic and APIs.
  • Integrating backend services with frontend components.
  • Ensuring high performance and responsiveness of backend systems.
  • Implementing security and data protection measures.
  • Managing and optimizing databases.
  • Collaborating with frontend developers, designers, and other team members.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging backend applications.
  • Ensuring scalability and reliability of backend infrastructure.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience:

  • 4 – 7 years in designing and optimizing complex backend systems, proficiency in backend languages and frameworks, expertise in database management, API development, cloud computing, and a track record of solving technical challenges.

Skills And Abilities:

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java, knowledge of database management systems, familiarity with web development technologies, and continuous learning to stay current with industry trends.

  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, combined with a passion for continuous learning and staying updated on emerging technologies.
