As the Senior Finance and Controlling Manager your objective is to lead the Company’s accounting,
controlling, corporate finance and treasury functions. The duty will span across Financial planning and
analysis, budgeting and performance management, planning and reporting to stakeholders, validation of
transactions and controls, and management of the company’s liquidity.
In the role as the Senior Finance and Controlling Manager you shall be responsible to consolidate various
plants’ financials, enhancing the accuracy of Koa’s reported financial performance. Your role is the
linkage between the Management team and the finance teams at the various locations of the company.
Team Lead
• Develop and implement strategies and
initiatives to enhanceoperational efficiency
and productivity.
• Manage and supervise the accounting, treasury
and controlling teams at the various plants.
• Develop staff by managing performance,
setting goals, providing ongoing training, and
maintaining strong employee relationships
Controlling
• Manage the accumulation and consolidation
of all financial data necessary for accurate
consolidation of business results
• Develop and monitor business performance
metrics
• Oversee budget reports, prepare budgets and
forecasts, and analyse budgets.
• Ensure that appropriate financial systems and
controls are implemented and adhered to
• Ensure compliance to local laws and regulation
(Tax)
• Support entire risk management function
through risk identification and propose
appropriate mitigation measures.
• Assess current practices and procedures and
make recommendations for improvements.
Corporate Finance & Treasury
• Reports to Management on the Company’s
financial health and liquidity
Advise on financial implications of strategic
and operational plans
• Responsible for financial analysis and modelling
of new businesses and co-operations
• Working capital management
Controlling
• Track and control expenditure to ensure
business units operate within set budgets.
• Manage the company’s assets to maximise
liquidity and reduce risk.
• Responsible for the development of relevant
financial policies
• Responsible for the timely reporting and
publishing of financial statements
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual
accounts closing
• Oversee all payroll functions
• Responsible for tax planning and to supervise
filing of tax returns
• Organise and lead external and GRA audits
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with emphasis on accounting
or International Finance. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• ACCA, ICA or a similar professional certification is required

WHO YOU ARE

• Minimum of 7 years plus of financial controlling experience
