Responsibilities:

• Support Departments staff in Network, Hardware and software issues
• Make sure the Network Infrastructure is properly functioning
• Ensure Company Computers are Safe and Virus Protected
• Frequently monitor the internet usage of the office Internet connection.
• Support Procurement officers in Identifying the right IT related equipment’s purchase
• Follow up on IT related equipment maintenance in collaboration with other units
• Take company computer inventory audit report periodically.
• Follow up if internet connection is not working or when there is slow connection.
• Install and maintain Local-area networks (LAN), which includes all branch offices in the company.
• Installing and configuring network devices like Print Server, Switch/Hubs, Router and cabling
• Configure a computer to connect to the local area network.
• Installing and configuring network software on a server.
• Follow up all IT equipment’s i.e. computers, printers and photocopiers are dust protected.

Provide continues IT support and Training

• Follow up computer and network users are using internet service without interruption.
• Provide continues support for staff on Finance software, Printer and Scanner usage, IT equipment usage, On how to take backups from their system and recovering files.
• Awareness creation about IT police and on web based services individually and in-group.
• Work in cooperation with the ISP (Internet Service Provider) Ethio-Telecom to fix problems when service failure occurred from their side.
• Orient and train new user staff on web based services and polices. Such as: MS-Outlook and Provide MS Office training for staff as per the demand

Configure and setup Company hardware and other web services

• MS-Outlook
• Network devices and internet access
• TCP/IP Printer or Network printer, standalone printer
• Scanner
• CDMA
• SMART phones

Job Requirements

• BSC/MSC in computer science, Information Technology, or other related fields
• 5 years of relevant experience with the first degree
• Relevant experience in Networking, System Administration, Database Management and IT Support
• CISCO, MCSE or Other certifications/trainings in Information
• Communication Technology, Trainings on Advanced/specialized computer applications are advantages
• LAN administration and Windows Server 2008 experience.
• Manufacturing, Export and Real Estate sectors experience is a plus.
