LET’S SUM IT UP

As the Software & Digitization Manager, your objective is to oversee the software development
and digitization projects within the organisation. You will be responsible for the planning,
organising, staffing, leading and controlling of digitization initiatives to improve operational
efficiency and effectiveness. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to align software
and digitization strategies with business objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
OVERALL DUTY
Software / Application development
• Develop and execute software development and digitization strategies to enhance business processes and drive innovation.
• Manage and lead the software development projects, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify software and digitization needs and prioritise projects accordingly.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and industry regulations in software development.
Project management
• Plan and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and costeffective project completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and manage expectations.
• Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to the Line
• Manager on project progress, resource utilisation, and budget allocation.
Operations Improvement
• Evaluate and recommend software technologies and tools to improve efficiency, productivity, and user experience.
• Monitor and assess software performance, security, and scalability, implementing enhancements and fixes as required.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software development and digitization, proposing innovative solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Software / Application Development
• Define software development methodologies, processes, and standards to ensure highquality deliverables.
• Ensure data security and privacy standards are implemented and maintained in software applications and digitization initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the software development team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Project management
• Lead the software development team in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications.
• Manage digitization projects, including data capture, storage, retrieval, and process automation.
• Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to leverage their expertise and support software development and digitization efforts.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
Operations Improvement
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in software development and digitization
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify digitization opportunities and define project objectives.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of software systems and digitization projects to
identify areas of improvement.

WHO YOU ARE
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s
degree is preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development, project management, and
digitization initiatives.
• Understand and have minimum 3 years experience in Full stack Software or application
development
• Experience with digitization initiatives, process automation, and data management
