The Tower Unit Deployment Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing all technical aspects of telecom tower commercialization projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective and quality delivery. This role includes end-to-end project management, structural integrity and compliance analysis, change request management and incident management while coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors and stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership
•Co-develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets for the deployment of projects
•Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards and budgetary constraints
•Identify and collaborate to mitigate project risks
•Coordinate on-site structural audits of telecommunications towers, including monopoles, self-supporting, and guyed structures.
•Assess tower components, foundations, and accessories for signs of wear, damage, or deterioration.
•Document inspection findings through detailed reports, photographs, and sketches
•Provide recommendations for repairs, maintenance, or replacements based on inspection results
•Identify potential hazards, including structural instability, weather-related risks, or material failures
•Review and interpret structural drawings, engineering designs, and installation plans
•Conduct load analysis to ensure tower capacity aligns with current and anticipated usage
•Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports on sites and other inventory
•Evaluate, document and manage change requests, ensuring alignment with all stakeholders
•Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the impact of changes and obtain necessary approvals
•Verify that tower installations meet safety protocols and environmental guidelines.

Must have Technical / Professional Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
•3+ years of experience in Telecom infrastructure deployment
•Proficiency in AutoCAD or structural analysis software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
•Knowledge of health, safety, local structural standards and building codes.
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection projects
•Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues.
