- Supervise the Transformer’s major overhaul and or repair activities.
- Assist in Transformer oil test procedures, Analyze the oil test results, and recommend the corrections required.
- Supervise the Transformer oil filtration activities.
- Supervise the testing of Transformer inbuilt protections.
- Propose the modifications required for safe and reliable operation of the Transformers.
- The specialist shall provide SOW and a Bill of materials required to execute the modification. Upon COMPANY approval, the Specialist shall supervise the execution of modifications.
- Execute the modifications required in the Transformers. Upon COMPANY approval test the modification for successful implementation and provide a report on the modifications executed.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control System Engineering.
- Minimum 10 Years of experience in the Installation, troubleshooting, repair, modification, configuration/setting change, testing, commissioning, and startup of MV, LV Transformers
- Must have knowledge of PROLEC Transformers
- Good interpersonal skills and exposure/experience to Offshore platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to work on short-term (2 weeks) – medium-term (6 months) commissioning/services
