We are seeking experienced and responsible truck drivers to support our growing logistics operations across Uganda. The ideal candidate must be committed to safety, punctuality, and professional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive assigned trucks to deliver cargo across designated routes
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
• Ensure timely delivery and accurate handling of documentation (delivery notes, PODs, etc.)
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and provide real-time updates
• Assist in cargo loading/unloading where necessary
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Valid Ugandan driving license with clearly indicated class (CM or CH preferred)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in long-distance heavy truck driving
• Strong knowledge of road networks across Uganda and regional routes
• Tech-savvy – able to operate smartphones and logistics apps for communication and tracking
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Kiswahili proficiency is an added advantage
• Physically fit and willing to assist in cargo loading/unloading when needed
• Highly disciplined, punctual, and responsible with strong time management skills
• Capable of working independently and performing basic vehicle troubleshooting
