CALL FOR VOLUNTEER FACILITATORS
Wokober Education Foundation is a registered not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, established in 2022 to advance competency-based learning and innovation in underserved communities and schools across Africa. Wokober envisions a future where an empowered generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders well nurtured to their full potential uplifts and accelerates the growth of their communities.
Wokober has developed the Wokober Learning Approach (WLA), a competency-based learning model that leverages an AI-adaptive learning platform to empower teachers in effectively delivering project-based learning. Inspired by the local ingenuity and culture of toy-making and innovation using local and recycled materials, the WLA nurtures key competencies such as imagination, critical thinking, creativity, hands-on practical skills, innovative application, communication, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship.
One of the most vibrant expressions of the WLA is the Wokober Toy and Innovation Festival a flagship event that celebrates the creativity, innovation, and talent of young learners. Scheduled for
12th–13th December 2025, the festival showcases youth-made toys, technologies, and community-
centered innovations. It brings together learners, educators, creatives, entrepreneurs, and development partners to highlight the power of creative learning and local innovation.
