Some of the Key Responsibilities: –
• Overall co – ordination of all operations activities in Dar es salaam and its supporting regions.
• Overseeing and or conducting Security surveys in both prospective and current client’s property and advising Head of Security and clients accordingly
• Reconciling manpower with the actual jobs at the end of each month
• Administering operation staff leave and relieving procedures.
• Ensuring that company security procedures are dispatched and adhered to in all assignments
• Monitoring and controlling the usage of operations motor vehicles and motorcycles to ensure efficient and effective utilization.
• Maintaining discipline within the guard force in liaison with the Human Resources Department.
• Procuring and controlling the entire operations equipment in line with the budget allocation in liaison with the stores and accounts departments
• Identifying Operations staff training needs and advising Head of Security accordingly
• Look to increasing performance levels by identifying and demonstrating areas of physical and procedural high-risk weakness of clients
• Reporting and rectification of all substandard observation in the first instance to the Head of Security Operations
• Reinforce the training of the guard force to attain international standards.

• Ensure the completion of point of work risk assessments for all uniformed staff posts, within your area of responsibility, located within a site file
• Ensure that toolbox talks are conducted monthly for all uniformed staff within your area of responsibility.
• Ensure that post assessments are conducted monthly for all uniformed staff within your area of responsibility.
• Ensure that security risk assessments are completed for all client sites within your area of responsibility and are reviewed annually.
• Ensure that risk management registers including HRIA and Environmental sheets are in place for all regions and Tier 1 Projects and are reviewed annually.
• Ensure that the necessary hazardous substances assessments are in place for hazardous substances used within the branch office and the individuals using them are trained appropriately.
• Ensure that waste transfer notes are recorded, and a waste register is maintained.
• Ensure that all necessary forms are uploaded onto the SharePoint system within the correct folder structure.
• Any other duties assigned to you by management.
Qualifications and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in any field, Qualification in commercial security and Membership of professional bodies an added advantage.
• Minimum five (5) years’ commercial Security service experience as a manager
• Technical understanding of commercial security and integrated facilities management.
• Good appreciation of financial models and proven ability to deliver stretching financial and non-financial targets.
• Experience of developing individuals and fostering their career advancement including suitable coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Proficiency in ICT.
