- Participate in complex contract negotiations.
- Implement activities related to onboarding of suppliers.
- Serve as the interface between the Legal Department and other internal functions on implementation of sub-contract strategies and sub-contract risk management.
- Provide expert advice and support in the development and assessment of recovery plans as well as corrective and preventative actions related to subcontract claims and disputes.
- Support Category Management teams with expert advice.
- Review bid clarifications/ qualifications and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Senior Specialist, Contract Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Relevant certifications in contract management and/ or contract dispute resolution will be an asset.
- +5-7 years’ cognate experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and interpretation.
