Responsibilities:
– Dispatch, collect point-of-care (POC) data including height and weight.
– Carry out POC tests for Antara’s beneficiaries to support the Clinical Team’s functions.
– Carry out POC tests for Antara’s beneficiaries to support the Clinical Team’s functions.
– Deliver medications and medical equipment to Antara’s beneficiaries as required, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
– Educate beneficiaries on the proper usage of medical devices, ensuring their understanding.
– Accurately enter patient test data in Antara’s systems for proper documentation.
– Thorough knowledge of all processes and will act as liaison between clinic and head-office (and pharmacy if needed).
– Complete requisition forms accurately and assist in resolving any missing information requests when needed.
– Operate vehicles (e.g., motorbikes) safely and in strict compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
– Safeguard Antara Health assets, including the testing devices, medical equipment and vehicles.
– Ensure regular and proper inventory management to fulfill the role’s responsibilities.
– Carry out deliveries and run errands to fulfill Antara’s administrative function.
– Support with administrative tasks where needed both in-field and at the office.
– Ensure strict adherence to Antara’s guidelines and protocols to maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety.
– Ensure waste management is carried out in accordance with waste protocols.

Requirements:
– Has an official and up-to-date motorbike driver’s license
– Has worked in delivery services, ideally in Mombasa town
– Ideally, 3 years’ working experience as a rider or a driver for a laboratory, a hospital, or a pharmacy
– Strong work ethic and able to work independently
– Ability to follow delivery plans and deliver on time
– Responsible, and able to provide up-to-date, accurate reports using mobile applications
– Speaks English and Kiswahili, with bonus points for Giriama speakers
– Strong interpersonal skills
