Under the direct supervision of Protection Manager, the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) scout manager has the overall responsibility of monitoring the entire scouting team and the routine operational tasks.
Detailed responsibilities and Tasks:
- The essential function of this position includes, but is not limited to:
- Daily monitoring and scouting of pest and disease
- Daily & timely proper scouting reports
- Supervision of IPM protocols of pest and disease management
- Proper supervision of scout teams in a daily basis
- Compiling IPM and conventional reports for management review
- Good communication & reporting pest & diseases incidences & developments with protection & management team
- Proper management & controlling of weekly biological control products applications.
- Monitoring efficiencies of control measures used
- Any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Management from time to time.

Job Requirements
EDUCATION:
Degree/Msc in horticulture or any other related field.
Ample experience in flower farming would be an asset.
SKILLS:
Proven leadership skills in farming.
Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation of human power.
Good management and communication skill.
Demonstrated analytical knowledge.
Able and willing to work under stress environment and should perform tasks independently.
LANGUAGES:
Fluent in Amharic.
Knowing additional local language will have an advantage
