Position Purpose:
The ideal candidates will be responsible to hadle the following key activities but not limited to: f
- Handle the onboarding process; prepare and organize new hire paperwork including pension formalities, record employee’s data in the SAP system, help the newcomer to get the necessary working materials, offer guidance and support (pre-induction), and arrange induction with the Talent team.
- Employee Benefits Payment Preparation; Prepare employees’ agreed benefit payment requests timely & properly; validate the accuracy & legitimacy of supportive documents.
- Employees Leave Management; Manage all types of employees’ leaves; Oversee the proper functioning of the automated annual leave management System.
- Encode payroll inputs in the NAV payroll system; gather and verify payroll data in time, encode payroll inputs in the NAV payroll system.
- Update SAP HR data: execute changes in positions accurately and within the timeliness of employee information, keep employee records up to date, incorporate changes in employment status, positions, and personal details, and maintain data quality within the SAP HR system.
- Handle employees’ service requests: Act as a primary point of contact for employees’ service requests, receive inquiries, concerns, and issues raised by employees, provide timely replies & services, and ensure a high level of customer service to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Serve as the custodian of employees’ files; keep and maintain employee personal files and ensure their confidentiality & safety. Ensure employee data privacy & protection requirements are adhered. Arrange and store personal files and records systematically, and ascertain access is granted before issuing any record. Safeguard protected information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
- Handle the offboarding process; Ensure the offboarding process and the touchpoints are followed in the termination process. Follow up the clearance process and ensure company assets are returned in collaboration with legal & concerned departments. process termination paperwork including pension formalities, report outstanding payments to exiting employees based on clearance reports, and ensure a smooth termination between the departing employee and the organization.
- Reports: Generate all types of employee benefit payment, time and attendance & leave reports from the system & the record when requested or required.
- Support Systems and Employee Lifecycle Manager; Support the line manager on the interpretations of the Collective agreement, internal regulation, and the labor law; give advice in case of misinterpretation and violations of rules and regulations promptly, Assess the labor relation issues from time to time and recommend proactive actions to be taken.
Required Acadamic Qualifications & Experience:
- BA Degree in Management or related fields.
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in multinational organizations
- Confident speaking and writing communication both in Amharic and Englsish
- Excel, Powerpoint & Word confident user
