Geita Gold Mine, Geita Position purpose:
The purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor is to assist in the daily supervision of the warehousing functions at the AUMS Nyankanga/Geita Hill underground mining operations at the Geita Gold Mine.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the warehousing activities at the Nyankanga warehouse.
• Assigning work and daily tasks to warehouse staff.
• Conduct/supervise periodic stock counts, reconciling variances and inputting of data to ensure a high level of availability of inventory materials.
• Ensuring warehouse storage areas are well maintained with a high level of housekeeping.
• Ensure that a high level of safety and compliance to the AUMS HSE policies is maintained.
• Leading by example to ensure that all AUMS warehousing procedures involving the issuing and receiving of inventory and direct charge materials are followed.
• Monitoring that safety procedures during the operation of mobile equipment are being followed.

Essential Requirements:
• Current registration and membership of PSPTB.
• Have a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar position specifically in underground mechanized mining operations.
• Ability to load and supervise staff with a team player attitude.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills in both English and Swahili.
• Substantial experience in the use of Inventory, Procurement ERP systems as in Pronto, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards.
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Valid Tanzanian Driver’s License.
