Scope:
- Assist with the leading of the farmer’s financing business from designing strategy, setting goals, implementing operations and managing P/L
- Serve as the internal leader of the Operations of Degas Ghana Limited by leading as well as managing the departmental heads, providing a strong daily leadership presence
- Managing the team, leading the company expansion and optimizing the organization’s operational capabilities
- Planning and overseeing organization-wide initiatives, operations and administration
- Responsible for the development and implementation of performance measurements and evaluation systems that support the organizational goals by promoting a culture of high performance as well as continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality customer service
- Responsible for the development and monitoring of the annual operational plan and budget
- Manage profit as well as loss, identifying ways to control costs and increase profitability
- Responsible for finding, recruiting, and also developing leadership for the ongoing growth of the company
- Oversee the mergers and acquisitions growth of the organization to strategically align it with the overall objectives of the company
- Ensure overall compliance with the country’s regulations and enhance a strong culture of ethical behaviour
Required Skill
- Bachelor Degree
- 5+ years of experience in project management and/or business development role in agriculture-related business or tech startups
- Experience in international companies is a plus
- Experience in data analysis is also a plus
