It builds, owns and operates telecom passive infrastructure, providing services to mobile network operators. Helios Towers currently operates in 6 markets in Africa and has recently signed agreements to enter 4 new markets in Africa and Oman in the Middle East.

Overview
Reporting to Estate Manager, The Estate Coordinator will be responsible for managing all Estate Management related activities and performance. Supported by the local property strategy, the Estate coordinator will ensure targets set are achieved in consultation with the Estate Manager. Ensure Siterra is 100% up to-date at all possible times. Assist the Estate manager in the negotiations of best possible terms for lease expiration including reporting thereof. Maintain great relationships with both landlords and permitting bodies to support full protection of HT Assets. Support the Estate Manager with any other required support related to Estate Management as a function.

Role Responsibilities
• As an Estate Coordinator, you will be able to:
• Operational Delivery
• Manage the site lease renewal process and including negotiation and contract execution.

• Negotiate and converse all leases into Perfect Lease.
• Monitor and follow up on all lease payments.
• Follow up, report and update on all relevant permits and engaging relevant authorities for such permits.
• Manage landowners to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve all landlord issues including access thus ensuring that there is no site access denied affecting the network operation.
• Attending hearings in case of any conflict/disputes.
• Undertaking assignments assigned by supervisor.
• Process payments of all rent landlords per agreed timelines
• Accountable for ensuring that all landlords are vetted in accordance with HT landlord vetting process
• Ensure no access issues to sites as a result of non-payments
• Ensure full adherence to all company’s set policies including SHEQ compliance when dealing with existing sites.
• Ensure terminations issued are managed effectively with landlords.

Requirements for the Role
• To succeed in the role, you will be/will have:
• Must hold a property, real estate, or surveying / valuation related degree as a minimum.
• Must have commercial property management experience, min 2 years’ experience in Estate Management activities relating to the telecoms.
• Ideally have association/ certifications from: CPM (Irem), MRICS.
• Experience of working in a large organisation/listed organization, Excellent command of English
