The Field Application Specialist plays a pivotal role in providing training, technical support and guidance throughout testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of platforms. They are responsible for monitoring competitor activities, absorbing technical information effectively, and carrying out installations and validations of instruments at customer sites. Additionally, they prepare technical specification reports, conduct product presentations, and gather customer feedback to support sales efforts. The Field Application Specialist ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with team members to ensure timely resolution of technical cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance during testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of platforms.
- Monitor competitor activities and absorb technical information effectively.
- Conduct installations, validations, and training at customer sites.
- Prepare technical specification reports and product presentations.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback to support sales efforts.
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with team members for case resolution.
- Coordinate resolution of escalated technical cases and follow up with customers.
- Proactively provide technical support to customers and resolve issues.
- Develop reports for service management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the FAS Lead.

Education: BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology.
