Partnership Development:
- Identify potential partners, including businesses, companies, fintech and non fintech companies, technology providers, government agencies, and non-profit organizations inside and outside Tanzania that can help NBC Bank enhance its digital products, services, market reach and competitiveness.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, decision-makers, and influencers, to explore collaboration opportunities.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, including terms, conditions, and mutual benefits, ensuring alignment with NBC Bank’s strategic goals and objectives on digital banking roadmap.
- Monitor progress, track performance metrics of the partners engaged, and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Digital Innovation, Digital Customers Migrations, Card Operations/Business, Technology, Marketing, Legal to mention but few to leverage synergies and maximize the impact of partnerships and acceleration programs.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, investors, and industry stakeholders, to build trust and alignment.
Accelerator Programs:
- Develop and manage accelerator programs aimed at fostering innovation within NBC Bank and the broader fintech ecosystem.
- Identify promising start-ups, universities scholars/graduates and early-stage companies that can bring innovative solutions to the banking sector.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and resources to accelerate the growth and development of participating start-ups, universities scholars/graduates and early-stage companies.
Risk Management:
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with partnership agreements, including legal, regulatory, financial, and reputational risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the partnership lifecycle.
Education Required:
- A bachelor/master’s degree in business administration, banking & finance or any related filed from recognized university.
- Sales/Marketing experience will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- At least five years of experience in relevant field from successful organizations
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proven experience in partnership development, business development, or strategic alliances within the banking, financial services, or mobile network sector with better background on sales and marketing
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to structure and close complex deals.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Deep understanding of the fintech landscape, emerging opportunities, and market trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced skills on speaking and writitng both English and Swahili language.

Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas – Physical, Mathematical, Computer and Life Sciences, Experience in a similar environment
