to monitor projects whose implementation has already started and in particular:
monitor projects in progress in conjunction with the geographic, technical and legal departments of the headquarters as well as with local partners and project owners;
monitor procurement and implement disbursements;
organize and support project supervision and monitoring missions.
–participate in prospecting/origination, identification, development of feasibility studies and implementation of new projects;
– to organize the missions of the AFD headquarters, the Accra agency or the regional management, and in particular the missions every three months of the agency director;
– to ensure a strong link with the French Embassy in Liberia and with the Ambassador, in particular by regularly participating in the Embassy’s service meetings, by preparing the Embassy’s visits to projects in its sector and by contributing to the organization of operational and institutional communication on these projects.
– to provide occasional support to the Accra agency on management issues and/or relays to the Liberian authorities.
The assignment to Monrovia is scheduled for early November at the latest.

With a higher education or a graduate of a leading university, you have a rather generalist profile with a specialization in one or more areas of international economic development and project management.
You have had the opportunity to put these skills into practice in the context of one or more significant experiences in international project management, which demonstrate a strong degree of autonomy. You are particularly motivated by the issues of development aid and its implementation, particularly in fragile countries.
You feel capable of assuming a role of institutional representation.
2. Human/relational qualities
You have very good interpersonal skills, you enjoy working in a team, including remotely. You also have excellent writing, analysis and synthesis skills.
You are rigorous, organized and proactive. You appreciate versatility and have a good ability to adapt to a different cultural context. This position requires high availability and will allow you to develop your ability to manage priorities as well as your resilience in the face of difficulties encountered.
3. Level of education / diploma
You hold a Bac + 5 / Master 2 level diploma obtained from an engineering school, business school, university or IEP in particular.
4. Languages
You have a perfect command of English in all everyday and professional situations.
