Further to creating a significant new library hub (‘Spot’) in Elmina, we are looking for an Enterprise Coordinator to lead a business development strategy to generate income through using the downstairs of Elmina Spot to generate income for EduSpots’ work through leveraging on opportunities relating to local tourism. This could include sales of items including our books, creating a visitors’ centre and EduSpots’ gallery, and other suggestions to be led by the Enterprise Coordinator.
The Coordinator will be confident and professional in asking for donations from tourists and stakeholders, directing them to our online giving platforms as necessary, and supporting our wider fundraising strategy, introducing new and diverse potential supporter groups to EduSpots’ work.
The Spot itself and its educational activities will be run by the local team and the Learning Centre Officer, following the community-led nature of EduSpots’ model, but we envisage that the Enterprise Coordinator will provide support and advice to the local team, building a strong relationship with them.

They will have a broad skill set across operations, sales, marketing, community engagement and business development.
