DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Preparing plans and estimates of construction costs and tenders (bill of quantities);
• Reviewing and evaluating the work of various ongoing projects for payment;
• Collecting data on the prices of construction materials for various projects;
• Preparing and evaluating additional work costs when they occur (Valuation of Variations);
• To prepare the needs of cultural construction projects (Project Resources); and
• To do other tasks assigned to him by his supervisor according to his cadre.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Employed with a Bachelor’s/Higher Diploma in one of the following fields; Construction Management, Building Survey, Building Economics, Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or other similar qualifications from Universities recognized by the Government. Be registered as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor with the Architects and Builders Registration Board (AQRB).
