As a Cost Control Accountant in our coffee shop, your role is pivotal in overseeing and optimizing financial operations to ensure effective cost management and profitability. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to streamline expenses while maintaining high-quality standards. Your focus will involve conducting thorough financial analyses, preparing budgets, monitoring inventory, and collaborating with management to develop cost-effective solutions.
• Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Professional certification in ACCA level 2, ZICA Licentiate, CIMA level 2 or its equivalent.
2+ years experience, preferably as a cost accountant.
Must be a registered member of ZICA
Experience with ERP, strong Excel user,
Experience in the hospitality industry is an added advantage.
Experience in Inventory management
