Job description

Key outputs and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing supply chain overheads (SCOH)
  • Investigate and analyze variance to prevent counting difference losses.
  • Conduct random checks/audits on all Logistics process to ensure stock management is done according to the Zone Inventory policy.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management best practices, including FEFO (First to Expire, First Out) and stock rotation to minimize losses due to obsolescence.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain inventory control procedures and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
  • Utilize inventory management software/systems to track, monitor, and report inventory-related activities.
  • Work with Planning and Operations teams to minimize bottle losses.
  • Identify loss points in the facility and derive action plans to close gaps.
  • Actively work with the operations team to reduce driver balances, overtime and breakages.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software/systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices and principles.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in inventory management.
  • Experience in Audit will be added advantage.
